Founded 1910 by Don Romn Montaa; family grape growing dates to 1886. 106 hectares of family owned vineyard in Rioja Alta, many vines 40 100+ years old. 95% Viura, 5% Garnacha Blanca. Hand harvested, native fermentation. 36 months in oak (90% French, 10% American), then 30 months cellar aging before release. Bottled without fining or filtration.
